'Working with others to promote the traditional arts and sciences of India in Australia.'
Introducing Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Australia Inc (BSDA)
Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Australia Inc (BSDA) is an Australian not-for-profit cultural organisation that works with other like-minded organisations and individuals to promote the richness and diversity of traditional Indian arts and sciences to people in Australia.
The BSDA achieves this by maintaining a gateway—an information directory—that connects the user to key organisations in Australia and India that have links to India’s cultural heritage.
Incorporated in 2000, the BDSA has organised a select range of programs on aspects of Indian culture which have included the preservation and conservation of Indian heritage, travel to India, traditional arts such as storytelling, music, dance, poetry readings, yoga and traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
It continues this work as a sponsor of select programs.
The direction of the BSDA has been inspired by the work of the esteemed late Shri Prabhakar Keshav Sardeshmukh Maharaj, who had a keen interest in promoting the traditional arts and sciences of India throughout the world.
